Arthouse Foundation Hosts Open Studios with Victor Ekpuk
The Arthouse Foundation hosted an Open Studios event for Victor Ekpuk to conclude the artist's four month residency in Lagos on November 27, 2015. Showing the culmination of his works produced during his residency for the first time, Ekpuk prepares for a solo exhibition in Lagos in March 2016. Ekpuk's work has taken new direction during his residency as he experiments with three-dimensional sculptural forms. His project explores his experiences as a returnee to Lagos, with particular attention to hair as a cultural and visual metaphor.
